Goodbye 2016...

Woke up this morning and surprise, surprise the kiddos were watching Monsters Inc -- haha

The guys went out to set up and find the fish, before all the kiddos came out!

It was a bit more windy and cold than we thought it was going to be, but we still ventured out for some fun in the snow and ice fishing!

Ending 2016 and kicking off 2017 with this little dude is something I call heaven :)

I mean, COME ON!!  How cutie is that smile -- if only you could have heard the giggle!

After a long day of ice fishing, the kiddos warmed up with a....well, an icy :)  haha

We headed to church and then Gpa got busy making the New Years Eve feast!!

It was AMAZING and so so YUMMY!!  We had king crab, lobster claws, roasted potatoes, and salad!  We missed the rest of the fam, but our tummies were a bit happy/full you stayed home hehe

Even Vince and Brody LOVED the lobster / crab!

After our late dindin, we did an early NYE celebration with the kiddos so it wouldn't a super late night!  I was trying to get my Bubba to take a pic of me...I posed with his "baby" so I could bribe him to come over!

I'll just give him some kisses instead!!

Got the kiddos tucked in and sleeping, and it was time to get ROWDY!!!

Played some games of Farkle and Game of things, watched Ross eat 9 bags of chicago mix, and Cheereds to a better year ahead!!!

Holding onto vacation!

Started out our wonderful day OFF by meeting up with Jenn and Aria before they headed back to CO.  We met them at Pancake house for a yummy bfast -- so great to see them and catch up!! Never long enough!!

The boys occupied themselves with some holiday cards (haha), while Rossy and I packed up the car!!

Then after grabbing a quick bite of lunch, we were OFF!!!!  Finding Dory was a huge hit -- thanks GPA!

Little man didn't make the whole movie -- so precious!

 We had a really fast ride up -- I planned the boys birthday party :), Ross stopped and shopped at Cabela's, and boys watched movies!  Got to the cabin around 4pm and B was SO excited that there were ice houses on the lake!!

SO of course that meant Evan was really excited about it too -- haha

 Played with some of their xmas toys while they waited for their cousins

Ronhovdes arrived in time for dindin and then the kiddos wanted to watch a movie (the theme of the weekend haha)

 Love being at the cabin with these guys -- no distractions (even my phone doesn't work!)

Kiddos went to bed at 10 and us grown ups played a couple rounds of the Game of Things -- never gets old :)

Birthday week continues :)

Birthday week continues :)  Kris gave B his bday gift yesterday, but I forgot it in my car and he was so sad he couldn't open it.  I let him open it first thing this morning.  He was pumped to get paw patrol -- Rocky and Chase :)

I worked from home today and in between work meetings (how is that possible on holiday week!) - I took down ALL the xmas decor :(  B was so sad when he got home and looked around.  Then he told me thank you for leaving his Birthday tree alone -- haha.  He cheered up quickly when he realized the  mailman brought him a special birthday card from Ben, Nick, and Leah.

 Spent the rest of the night packing for the cabin and playing with our xmas toys :)
