Forged in Tennessee!!

Meanwhile, back at home....Mads is living her best life at Bupa's :)

It's also meet and greet at school so the PTO team represented and handed out the cutie blow pops to all for "popping by" :)

AND gave our 86 NEW families a cutie little "welcome bag" - so excited for so many new people in our community!!

Back to Tennessee....

Still raining when we woke up – BOO!  We pivoted on our fun plans today and decided to go into Gatlinburg and check out the aquarium.  We ate a quick bfast and then headed out.

While it was extremely overpriced, the boys LOVED it!!  Asher and Evan kept running around saying “this is the best day ever!” and none of the boys could hide their excitement!

They had front row seats for the shark feeding – cra cra!!!

It was a pretty cool aquarium – they had a long tunnel that went under too; that was really cool!!

“It is like we are in the movie Finding Nemo Mom”

They had a mermaid show – the boys watched for a bit but then realized they were fake they were over it hahaha  “Mom, those mermaids couldn’t even hold their breaths underwater like the real ones – those were fakers” hahaha

“I’d eat those crab legs – they are HUGE!”

Fun at Ripleys Aquarium!!

I thought sting ray bay was pretty cool!!

The boys loved the penguin playhouse and we got to see the penguin parade before we left!!!  They were SO CUTE!!!!!

It was already 1:30 and we were all STARVING so we walked over to Ole Red for some live country music and some delicious food (um these redneck nachos were insane!!)

The boys thought the sign was hilarious hahaha I just kept wishing for Blake Shelton to walk through the door and be my new bestie hahaha

After lunch, we headed to Pigeon Forge and went to Iron Mountain Metal Craft for the boys to forge their own knives!!

Rossy made a knife out of horse shoe and the boys did one out of a nail.

They had to hammer it flat…

Over and over again – heat it up, hammer it, heat it up, hammer it!!

Safety first though 😊  My little welders!!

The boys had to twist their handles – such concentration!!

Before it was polished – pretty proud!!

Sharpening and polishing them up….

Those are some SHARP looking men hahahah

So glad that Tyler and Asher were able to join us for a day – so much fun to catch up and the boys had a BLAST with Asher.  Now we all want to go to Georgia and visit them again 😊

They left to head back home from there and we headed to Pirates Voyage dinner show!!!

Evan had 1 million questions – “are these pirates real?  Are they going to fight? Who do we want to win? Why did you pick the blue side Mom? Do they use real swords? Is that real water? Can they breathe underwater Mom?”  hahahaha

They had parrots flying around and the boys were just in awe – that and because they had lemonade and unlimited food just being dropped off in front of them.

The show was AMAZING!!!  Like AMAZING!!!  Ross hadn’t known what to expect but he loved it too – they were all so talented and it was just AMAZING!!!

B said "Mom, I bet I'm strong enough to do that with my 13 pack" hahahah

The food was delicious too 😊

These guys were jumping over that net onto trampolines...then into the water!  It was insane!!!

The boys favorite parts were the seal (who was so well trained!!) and the skeletons!!

Mine were the mermaids and pirates jumping off the diving boards and floor – so strong!!!

Just the best – what a great show!!!

The show went till 8 so we crossed the street and headed over to the grocery store to pick up eats for the 2nd half of our vaca – so glad I had figured all this out and made a list before we left….saved us so much time!!!

Clear skies.....no rain tomorrow please?!

Got back to camp and dropped off laundry and then played Clue junior while it washed!!  Thankful for a campsite that has laundry so you don’t have to waste time at a laundromat.

We all tucked in after laundry was done – tired bunch after our busy day!!!
