Ringing in the New Year with fam!!

We had a very lazy morning...I tried to get our house organized and picked up -- but this has been my view this week and I'm TIRED of laundry!!! hahaha  Does anyone have an awesome solution or habit when it comes to the never ending laundry chore?!  :)

The boys played with some new toys -- Evan helped build Brody's lego car and B man became an archaeologist and dug through a dinosaur egg!!!

Since we all had slept in, yet again, we headed over to Ronhovdes house around 3pm with no naps!!  We were supposed to be at the cabin all weekend, but since it was -30 up there we all decided to stay home.  Figured there wouldn't be much for the kiddos to do and we would have had to stay inside anyways....this was super fun too :)  There were TONS of new toys!!!

After we weren't full from all the apps, we sat down around 7pm to CRAB DINNER!!!!  It was the perfect way to ring in the New Year!!!

We went through 13lbs of CRAB LEGS!!!

After our yummy meal, we realized it was almost "midnight", so we got our party hats and sound makers and took some pics!!!

Then we watched the early "midnight" countdowns and rang in the New Year with fam!!!

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 -- HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

We watched ALL of the countdowns -- I think there was 10 this year hahaha

We ALMOST forgot to cheers to the NY with "champagne", so we had to do that before we headed home!!!

We got home around 11pm - put the boys down and then sat in the hot tub to ring in 2018!!!  We are hoping it's a great year of HEALTH and ADVENTURE!!!  Happy New Year all!!!!

Coco and Zinngers

Our crew all slept in again (getting back to our routine is going to be rough!) and then since it was FREEZING we decided to go see Coco with the Standals -- however, it was sold out so B man stayed with them and we ran some errands!!

Evan was sad cause he wanted to see the movie, so we decided to give him his own special treats today :)  He got a yummy chocolate donut at the grocery store!!

and he got our undivided attention at lunch out at Chammps!

This also gave Ross and I a new idea!!  It was so different and nice to just give him our full attention, that I think we are going to start doing monthly "dates" with our kiddos so we can give them some 1x1 time!!!  New resolution #1 -- woot woot!!!

Picked up B man and headed home for naps, and then got ready to have the Roses over for a little Zinnger Melt action!!!!

Ross perfected the recipe for his Florida addiction and it was delicious!!!  

The kids were zipped up and started playing hide and seek -- it was so cute!!!  The little two were actually really good at finding spots and staying quiet!!!

We gave Harper an early bday gift too, since it is her birthday week :)  She loved it and helped make bfast the next morning!!!  So cute!!  Can't believe she is already going to be 3 this week!!!!

We all had so much fun that it was 10pm before we even knew it!!!  Thanks so much for coming over you guys :)  We love you and hope you have a great New Year and 3rd Birthday!!!

Big Thrills

Evan, Cait, and I slept in :) while B and Ross had quiet lego time this morning!!!  Brody is getting super good at putting together his lego kits all on his own!!  Ross just has to sort of guide him on some, but for the most part he puts them together all on his own!!!

Since it was so cold out and we couldn't go ice fishing with the boys, we decided to let them burn off some energy at the Big Thrill Factory.  Oma/Bupa are watching Izzy so they met us up there and the 3 kiddos ran through the kid blaster playground for a couple hours :)

We played some arcade games too!!  Of course, the car/racing ones were the biggest hit!!

We grabbed lunch at Noodles and the boys were asleep as we pulled out of the parking lot -- hahaha.  We officially wore them out!!!

We were able to transfer both the boys and they took LONG naps -- gave me enough time to get all the xmas decorations down and the house cleaned, while Ross went ice fishing with Tim!!

We let the boys stay up a little later tonight since they took such long naps and they burned off energy by running / jumping :)

and playing with the cheapest toy out there :)

Cait had B&E sleepover so they enjoyed a little hot tub action / movie ....I was laughing cause Cait had mentioned earlier "I feel like all you do is laundry, clean, and make dinner"  :)  Well, that pretty much sums up my day to day life!!!  hahaha I also realized how old I am because I keep asking Caitlin what her plans are for the eve and she just laughs and tells me she'll probably figure that out around 8/9pm :) Ahhhh I forgot how to be in college already!!!!   Ross and I took a nice, long hot tub and then curled up to binge watch Stranger Things so we could finish the 2nd season and then went to bed ourselves much too late :)
