Sodahls eats: Fletchers to Carroux's!!

Evan woke up at 4am screaming that his ear hurt and holding the side of his head...brought him into our room and he tossed and whimpered all night long.  Woke up this morning and he remained like this until about 4pm :(  We weren't sure if it was ear ache or a tweaked neck, but the only thing that wouldn't make him scream and cry is if he laid and held it (like so), so he missed out on the fun day :(

Izzy and B bounced all morning long :)

We were supposed to meet Oma and Bupa at Fletchers for bfast with Santa, but Oma went to hospital last night :(  Turns out she has a nasty infection so she has to get her stents replaced with surgery tomorrow...we felt so bad!!!  Gpa came to "hang" out with Evan...and since Izzy was supposed to sleep over at Oma / Bupa's house tonight, we instead met up with Jody and Stacy and enjoyed brunch!

We had our own private room right by Santa!!  The kiddos ate good since the big guy was watching :)

Pictures with Santa!!

B told him he really really wanted a smart watch -- not the kind that works like a ipad but one he can play games right on!  (eek! haha)  Izzy said she wanted makeup, and Brody told Santa about Evan and asked if he would bring him coach cars :)

We had a great time but really missed Oma, Bupa, and Evan.  Hopefully everyone is on the mend soon!!

I headed home to nap with Evan (who hadn't moved) :) and Brody / Ross headed to Byerly's to ring bells for Salvation Army with the boyscouts!!

He got a delicious and warm hot chocolate at the end of his 2 hour shift!!

I headed up to 212 urgent care since Evan was still holding his ear and screaming every time we moved him....wanted to rule out ear infection!
Waited for 2 hours...and turns out it's just a really bad tweaked neck muscle :(  Ears checked out ok and doc realized that Evan couldn't look up / side to side without cringing and crying, so we left with orders to heat and ice.  Hopefully it's better tomorrow!!  Poor dude hasn't even eaten a thing today...

Gpa headed back over to babysit the boys (he was able to get Evan to eat some culvers and ice cream) -- and then Evan resumed position to some fun xmas movies!!

Ross and I headed over to the Carroux's for a delicious dinner with our church friends!!  They are quite the hosts!!  John made us manhattens and Anne whipped up some creme brulee!!  Made me think of my Mom cause she called that her "fancy dessert"  :)

After our yummy feast, we played the funniest game and had some of the best belly laughs ever!!  Thanks for bringing Jackie :)

Such a great night!!!  We are so blessed to be getting to know this fantastic group a little better each time we hang out!!  Thanks for hosting John/Anne and thanks all for the fun time!!!

It was fun watching the boys. So glad you had a good time with your groupies. I hope that continues in the future.
