Spring has Sprung!

We started out our morning at Round Lake for some fun with the Hubies girls!  Meg was in town from Colorado, so it was so nice to get together while she was in town :)  So weird to think I've known these ladies for 27 years!!  Our "future Hornets" pic keeps getting bigger!

We went and picked up Grents and drove them to the airport -- and B luckily fell asleep in the car on the way there! (it's so nice out today that we are trying to skip his nap to fit the zoo in!) -- so after we dropped them off, we headed to the MN Zoo!

Brody had so much fun - and it was really fun to see him relate the animals in his books to real life!  When he saw the monkeys he went "ooo ooo" -- and he kept pointing and saying "birdies" when he would hear them chirp!

Apparently it's mating season around here...(insert 16 yr old snicker here)

Got really excited for real life flamingos!  He always points at them in his one book and laughs - and today when he saw them he got really excited - like he couldn't believe they were real!

The new bear exhibit was pretty cool!  Brody was growling at them!

This might be my favorite picture...Brody just got done saying "E-I-E-I-O!"  after we told him those were pigs!

Right before his face plant...I have a feeling he will have many more of these this summer!

I think the Tiger was thinking "I could eat you in 1 bite"...and Brody was egging him on by "ROARING" every time he walked by!  haha

We had a GREAT time!  It was just so nice out! Finally hit 60 today!!  It was nice to be out and about walking around / enjoying the weather!

After the zoo, B Man was WORN out!  He slept the whole ride home - plus an hour in our driveway - so we just left him in the car, and headed to Standals for a BBQ to top off our fun Sunday night!  YAY!!  So much fun - thanks for having us over!  So fun to let the kiddos play and sit outside and enjoy the nice night!
