B had a VERY busy day today!! (good thing he slept 8 hours last night!! YAY!!) We started out at 9am and he rode in Oma / Bupa's car with their car seat - he thought it was pretty cool that mom got to sit right next to him!! :)
We headed to Belle Plain where he got to meet his Great Grandma! She was so excited to see him!! Let's just say, mother instincts never go away...she loved holding him - and knew exactly what to do in order to burp him. It was awesome seeing her with him!!
We pointed out that it was 4 generations now - and her response was "that just means I'm old" :) Not many people can have a picture like this one - very cool!!!
Then Great Aunt Deb joined us and gave Brody such a special present! Her and Great Gma made this blanket for B!! They gave us pictures of Gma making it too...such a special and amazing gift!! Here is Brody playing with it too -- like father like son :)
After we got done visiting with Gma, we headed to Deb and Emmitts and had some lunch - where Brody got to meet Heather and Derick! Brody slept for most of the visit - I was so shocked that he followed his schedule even when we were out and about!! He was being a flirt with all the ladies too :)
We headed home around 4 - and we let Brody play a little before going back in the car. Him and Bupa where having a little conversation :)
It was the first time his cousins Caitlin and Emily got to hold him - they were very excited!
Caitlin showed me up with her mad diaper skills!! Can't wait till she can babysit - she is going to be awesome!! We ate dinner and headed home around 8:30....long day for little B!! (he slept 7 hours though tonight....YAY!! I think we are sleeping through the night now....)
