Sodahls DAY of FUN!

Brody had a great night last night - and slept in today...so we were all fired up for Sodahl family day!!!  We started with swim lessons where B had TONS of fun!  He was into everything today...he was splashing the entire time!

He was so relaxed that the teacher had Ross go to the "1 hand back float assist"!  :)

After swim lessons, we headed out for breakfast!  Then we headed home - took a nap/watched some football - and headed outside on this gorgeous day!  (It hit 40 today!  YAY)  Since it was so nice out - we decided to take Brody to Big Willow and do his 1 year / seasonal pics!

 

So we had heard the train when we were taking bridge pictures, but decided it must be a different track...and then right when we were going to let the BIRTHDAY BALLOON go - I look at Ross and said "hmm I think the train IS coming..." -- and we both look down the tracks and THERE IS THE TRAIN!  Ross grabbed B and we hauled A$$ down the hill...scared us a little!

So after the train had safely passed us...we went back up on the tracks - made a Birthday WISH for YEAR 2 - and watched the Birthday balloon fly away!!!  We could see it forever!

After our photo shoot, we headed out on Lake Minnetonka for some ice fishing!!!!  It was perfect timing, cause it was sunset and we were pulling them in left and right!!

It was such a fun family day - and we are so glad that B is feeling better!!  (however, he did puke 2x today so now we are wondering if he might have a milk allergy...calling doctor tomorrow so deets to come)  -- BUT we had fun despite that!!  We are so blessed to have one another :)
